Home Energy Grants - Insulation Grants
West Coast Insulation now offers a total grant amount of up to €3250 which is the highest grant amount available. We will look after the paperwork once the works are complete making it a simple process for homeowners.
All you need to do is contact West Coast Insulation and we will take it from there. The grants are provided by the Irish Government's SEAI Home Energy Grants scheme. All houses built before 2011 qualify for the SEAI Grant.
What Grants are available for Cavity Wall Insulation?
There is a grant of up to €1700 for cavity wall insulation.
The two rows of blocks that create the cavity need to be injected with bead to fill the gap. We use bonded bead which is the most cost effective and efficient way we have found to insulate homes.
What Grants are available for Attic Insulation?
There is a grant of up to €1500 for attic insulation.
SEAI recommend that at a minimum you should put in ceiling level roof insulation as it is seen as the most cost effective of any upgrade to your house you can make. 300mm of Knauf, Rockwool or an equivalent material is generally recommended. This can be added to your existing insulation as a top-up if you already have some attic insulation.
