The type of home you live in gives us an idea of the size of the attic space. We can insulate most types of properties including dormers, bungalows, etc., providing there is access to the attic.

Q: Do you already have insulation in your attic and just need an upgrade?

Many attics already have some insulation but need to be topped up to bring it to the highest standard, which is 300 mm in depth. If you have no insulation, we will install the full 300 mm to bring your home up to the highest standard.

Q: What are the grants and how do I apply?

There are grants available for the work—currently €1100—which we take directly off the price of the work. We look after the paperwork, so all you need to do is contact West Coast Insulation and we will handle this for you. See our Grants Page for more information.

The cost of attic insulation installed depends on a number of factors.

In order to be able to give you an accurate idea of the costs of insulating your attic firstly we need to ask a few questions?

4. Do you want to get a certain BER?

1. What is the type of home you want attic insulation in?

2. Do you already have insulation in your attic and just want an upgrade?

Many attics have some insulation already but need to be topped up to bring it to the highest standard which is 300 mm in depth. If you have no insulation, then we will install the full 300 mm of depth and this will bring you up to the highest standard of insulation.

3. What depth of insulation do you require?

The depth of insulation will be brought up to 300mm in total including any existing insulation. .

4. Are you trying to achieve a certain BER?

5. What areas can you cover?

There are grants available of up to €3498.70 and we take this directly off the price of the work. We will look after the paperwork as well so all you need to do is contact West Coast Insulation and we will look after this for you.
