Knauf Ecose Mineral Wool: is a newly developed product which provides the high standard of insulation without the itchiness of conventional fibreglass products. The brown layers of Knauf Mineral Wool are rolled out in the attic space between the joists and over the joists.
Knauf Mineral Wool comes in depths of 200mm, 150mm and 100mm and can be installed at the desirable level. If no insulation exists and more than 200mm is needed, two layers of insulation will be installed.
Day 5 of the black out after a storm and thanks to our insulation we are warm in the house. We don't even have a stove or fire only candles lit and we are warm. This is the best upgrade investment we've made to our house.
Kudos to these guys. They came out, lifted the roof tiles to 3 roofs with no access and for the first time I saw how bad the insulation was in there (some had no insulation....) They topped up my attic insulation, re-floored and pumped the cavity wall in both my house and garage. Highly recommended this team, great team spirit on site.

We were looking to get our cavity walls insulated and heard about West Coast Insulation from a friend who had their house done in Galway.
