During my own work installing windows I noticed that there were often empty spaces around windows which were not filled properly. During the pre-survey, Patrick from West Coast Insulation explained the importance of drilling holes in the right pattern on the wall and pumping them correctly. He explained how an extra hole needs to be drilled and pumped beside the windows (under the lintel) to get the cavity completely filled. He told me that both John and himself would be on site during the work and always make sure that the house is 100% insulated. I was satisfied that the work would be well done and have noticed a big difference to the heat in house since the job was done.
